What is a Page?

Pages in Plane are built-in documentation tools that let you capture and organize project-related information without leaving the platform.

Use pages to document:

Creating a Page

Quick Method

Press D anywhere in your project to create a new page.

Standard Method

  1. Navigate to the Pages section in your project
  2. Click Add Page
  3. Give your page a title
  4. Start writing!

Page Visibility

When creating a page, choose its visibility:

  • Public — Visible to all workspace members
  • Private — Only visible to you (the creator)

The Page Editor

Plane's editor is powerful yet easy to use. Here's what you can do:

Formatting Toolbar

  • Headings (H1 through H6)
  • Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough
  • Text color and highlighting
